Curacao

Today Curacao is still in favour with me. I have been there a couple of times and I am really satisfied about the beach resorts there. I am a bit prejudiced because my husband was born and raised in Curacao before coming to the U.K.

Last resort we went was the Veneto Casino Holiday Beach Resort in Willemstad. Complete with fitness facilities, poolside bars outdoor pools and tasty restaurants. This holiday resort has one of the best private beaches in Curacao. I prefer private beaches because they are kept clean every day and you will not find litter anywhere.

Willemstad itself is a beautiful city to enjoy the many museums. You must try to visit the Jewish Cultural Historical Museum, Maritime Museum and the Curacao Museum when your vacation is in Curacao.

This year I want to try something completely different. I am thinking of a Caribbean cruise, visiting all the beautiful islands. I am curious about those white sand beaches of the Dominican Republic I hear so much about.
