Grand Paradise Playa Dorada

Two years ago I went to Dominican Republic at the
Grand Paradise Playa Dorada. It is a fine all in resort near Fort San Felipe and the Amber Museum.

We visited the Ocean World Adventure Park which is about 2 miles from this hotel At All we wished for was available at the Grand Paradise Playa Dorada. Like nonmotorized water sports equipment, nice tennis courts even a basketball court, miniature golf, and lots of fitness facilities. Our children enjoyed themselves at a children's pool and a special children's club with friendly staff. My girlfriend loved the massage services available at the Playa Dorado. There were so many activities there that when you should do them all you need at leest two vacation weeks. We booked only for one week at this resort so unfortunately we had to make some difficult choices which activities we would participate. This resort has two great restaurants called the Hibiscus and Michelangelo. We liked the bars and a disco which were available on site.

When we first arrived in our hotel room we were immediately impressed about the tropical décor and glass doors that opened onto our balconie. We had an amazing ocean view. To my surprise we had a philips flat screen tv and not some cheap one with poor resolution.

Hope to visit the DR again next year.
