One hour trip to Dreams resort

Hi there,

Unfortunately it takes about an hour to reach the Dreams resort once you landed at the airport in the Dominican Republic. And this is the most important reason I will not go back to the Dreams resort again. Next time I'll pick a resort closer to Punta Cana airport for sure. I really hated this ride to the Dreams resort. And don't expect comfortable taxi's or small vans which take you to the Punta Cana resorts. Really bad roads too. You seem to forget that the Dominican Republic is a poor country and its economy is relying only on tourism. You've read it somewhere but it is still confronting. So when you are not on resort grounds you will definitely see how poor the local Dominicans are. Not something every visitor to the Dominican Republic would expect I think. So be prepared to see al these things and you might realize too how huge the difference is between our western world and the Dominican one.
