Punta Cana First-Timer

Hello,

My fiance and I are going to spend our honeymoon in Punta Cana for a week near the end of June or early July. We are both very active. Any recommendations for a great 5-day honeymoon experience that will include the opportunity for active excurions and entertainment?

It's always nice to get advice from someone who has been there before. We would love to keep it under $3000 for the trip (1500/person)...is that reasonable for 5 days/nights?
